Abstract

Production of recombinant proteins such as β-NGF using prokaryotic hosts is the topic of many recent researches. However, bacterial cell culture media are cheaper than eukaryotic cell culture media, but in industrial production scale they are not cost effective at all for biotech companies. Therefore, survey to find inexpensive cell culture medium that bacterial cells not only can grow in it but also produce recombinant proteins is very important. In this study, for the first time date syrup and yeast extract mixture was used as an inexpensive medium. In RSM (response surface methodology) studies different concentrations of date syrup and yeast extract were used as carbon and nitrogen sources respectively. The results indicate that the 20 g/lit of carbon and 5 g/lit of nitrogen are optimum for bacterial growth. Also the data show that recombinant bacteria not only can grow but also can produce recombinant proteins such as β-NGF using this synthetic medium.

Abstract

Persian poetry has been a vehicle for reflecting plays and theatrical games, a source if absent might reduce the quality of performative arts. Accordingly, this study attempts to show which themes and features of the plays have been most prominent in the Persian poetry, and in this interplay, what the poetry has gained from the play, and which themes and images are taken from the world of play. The research method is descriptive-analytical based on the library study and document analysis. Two programs called Erfan e Noor and Darj have also been used. This study shows that the Persian poetry has retained some of the features of the play, and more attention has been paid to two games called acrobatics and puppet shows. Reflecting the themes of the play, the poets have paid more attention to theme creation and their poetic imagination, and the imagination based on the play has a significant role in this regard. The earliest Persian poets of Dari as well as the contemporary poets have reflected theatrical themes in their poems; from Ferdowsi and Manouchehri to Qa’aani and Farahani. Among them, Nizami Ganjavi has paid more attention to this aspect than the others. Also, for the first time in this study, the mystic attitude towards the plays has been examined; it has been realized that they have often used the allegorical form of the plays. The mystic allegories are rather codified. They are similar to Khayam's philosophical allegories. In terms of literary analysis, most images are created by metaphor, simile, allegory, and coded allegory.

Abstract

In some statements and literary terms of the Holy Quran, has been used body language to convey the message, such as "hand gestures". Proper translation is very important in translating these metalinguistic communications and requires extra attention on the part of the translator. Accordingly, due to the cultural similarities and extensive historical ties between the two languages, Persian and Arabic, it has been assumed that metalanguage concepts based on hand gestures have common Equivalents in Persian language. In the present study, the research method is descriptive-analytical and in it, the translation of literary terms and propositions based on hand language in the translation of Mousavi Garmaroodi and Khorramshahi has been studied with a comparative view to determine the commonalities of the two languages in this field and to explain the limits and dimensions of the strengths and weaknesses of translators in the use of cultural patterns and terms that reflect these patterns. The results show that most of the Quranic sentences and phrases based on hand movements and the resulting concepts have an equivalent in Persian culture and language, Regarding the performance of translators, it has been determined that due to this rich context in Persian, they have paid attention to body language Equivalents in their translation. In some instances, they have inevitably taken the literal method, and this is due to the difference in the cultural pattern of the two languages, and it is natural that one cannot expect the same and perfectly consistent spelling conditions.

Abstract

Aims: One of the ways to reduce cholesterol is to use statins that prevent cholesterol synthesis. The statins are similar to mevalonate and act as a competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase enzyme. Lovastatin is the eminent derivate of the statins group, which is produced by many microorganisms. At commercial scale lovastatin is produced in submerged culture by Aspergillus terreus. The industrial production of this metabolite is carried out by Aspergillus turosus in liquid culture. The main aim of this research was to investigate the effect of spore age on lovastatin production at the inoculation stage; also, the impact of adding olive oil and tetracycline as inducers for lovastatin production were examined.
Materials and Methods: In the present experimental research, different suspensions from varying ages of spore were prepared and added to the medium of Aspergillus terreus ATCC 20542; lovastatin concentration also was measured by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
Findings: The utmost lovastatin was observed in inoculum with 85 days spore age and equal to 60 mg/l, which was approximately twice higher compared to when inoculated with 10 days spore age. The best concentration of spore inoculation was 0.5×107 spores/ml. Lovastatin production significantly increased when tetracycline and olive oil were used as inducers.
Conclusion: As the inoculated spore age increases, lovastatin and biomass production is increased. The lovastatin production is increases by more than 1.5 times while adding tetracycline and olive oil compared to date syrup alone.

Abstract

Pastoral literature is one of the literary genres that have been neglected, while both the formal and informal genres of pastoral literature deserve a serious attention of researchers with literary and interdisciplinary approaches. Pastoral stories are part of a huge system of informal pastoral literature. So far, no determined research has been done in Iran with the approach of analysing pastoral themes on these texts. Nature has a special state in pastoral literature. The available research intends to investigate the twofold functions of nature (sanctity-magical function and the function of advancing the narrative) in the informal pastoral stories of Khaomirabad region of Marivan city. To achieve this, the approach of content analysis has been used with insinuating the structural analysis of stories, and the special place of outstanding natural elements such as mountains, caves, water, fire, springs, stones, and plants in stories have been investigated. The results of the research show that first, natural elements and places in pastoral stories are the cross point of the most important events of the story; secondly, the presence of magical and sanctity images in the description of nature evokes a positive image based on the necessity of respecting nature and the ecosystem in the reader. Thirdly, the structured schema in the mind of the reader and the audience provides an appropriate condition for generalizing the holiness and supernatural power of the natural elements described in the story to the physical world around him.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to record and maintain vocabulary related to walnuts and walnut tree harvesting in the city of Ardakan. The research method was based on direct observation and experience, and some information was collected based on interviews with people who were knowledgeable and aware of the subject, whose jobs were related to walnut trees or who had the necessary attention to terminology. This research shows that the vocabulary related to walnut harvesting in Ardakan city is often different from the synonymous and common words in other researched areas. Also, some common proverbs in Ardakan, Fars, are unique and were created based on the culture and importance of this tree. Culturally, it is shown how walnuts are harvested, and the roles of individuals are explained based on age. Also, from a cultural perspective, this study describes the special importance of the walnut tree in teaching children and adolescents about hard work and trade. In addition, attention is paid to the issue of walnut tree ownership, which is similar to other cities where previous research has been conducted, and it was found that multiple ownership also existed in the city of Ardakan.
Introduction
Research background
Some of the research that has been conducted in this field is as follows: Soltani Nejad (2006), and Nasrollah Askari (2014) used observation and interview methods, showing that the walnut tree has sustained the social bonds of the family. The author also paid attention to the type of ownership of walnut trees from an economic perspective. The other study was written by Papoli Yazdi and Abbas Jalali (2019). This investigation takes a special look at the issue of walnut ownership and, based on a field study and drawing diagrams, outlines the continuity of ownership in some rural families with walnut trees in Khorasan. In his book The History of the Ardakan Dialect (2019), Amiri Ardakani, while discussing various cultural topics as appropriate, mentions some topics related to the walnut tree, which are used in the text. Despite these valuable articles and books, the present study is a new study in this field. First, this is because a different location has been studied in this study. Second, the Ardakani dialect has a substantial difference from the accents and dialects of the other two studies. Also, this study considers educational-cultural issues that have not been paid attention to or have received less attention in other articles.

Goals, questions, and assumptions
The basis for considering this topic in this study is the importance of the walnut tree to the people of Ardakan and its surrounding culture and terminology. A tree that can grow and produce fruit for many years, and in the past, it was often planted on the banks of streams or in lands that were not suitable for agriculture. The importance of this tree to the people of Ardakan and the culture that has developed around it over the years requires careful consideration of the linguistic and cultural components associated with it. The aim of this research is to preserve some of the native vocabulary related to the walnut tree and explain its value and importance in the Ardakani dialect. Also, expressing some of the valuable subcultures that have formed around it and their continuation can be effective in optimizing the culture of childrearing and the value of work.

Main discussion
The most important findings of this article are as follows:
"Words related to walnut tree parts": oyzeh, porg, čile, čot, h'oshke, tolme, gor, nar, laγe, Dar e gerdo, Tarre gerdo, Gerdo y nat.
The other section is about "terms related to the stages of walnut tree fruit growth" and includes these words: Gol, Chormak, kowre, kowreseyah, Kalemaj, Kaftak, pirmak, tenj.
Another topic is "The customs and traditions of picking walnut fruit and the tools associated with it": Darebon, gercon, Kappaz, todari, keleperx.
Tools and equipment for collecting also have their own terminology: kena, varkena, tal, vapazak, badriz.
Walnut has the following vocabulary and terms in the Ardakani dialect: kaγazi, kanak, somi, gowr. There are also special and unique proverbs and idioms in the Ardakani dialect that are mentioned in the text of the article. Walnut trees also have their own special names due to their importance. In addition to these, family gatherings and rituals and the role of each member in the harvest season based on age and gender, as well as idioms related to ownership and customs of transactions and trade and customs of renting products are other topics that are raised and examined in this article.
Conclusion
This research shows that the importance of the walnut tree in the city of Ardakan has led to a special culture with a special vocabulary. In the vocabulary section, if a comparison is made with other research, some words have common features in letters and pronunciation, and at the same time have a different development from the same words common in other regions of the country, but most words are unique to the Ardakani dialect. Proverbs related to walnuts, although few in number, are specific to the region. The walnut tree is a unique and special tree from the cultural perspective that has developed around it. This tree brings families and sometimes several families together, especially during the harvest season, and gathering its produce is like a "business school" for children and teenagers. Due to the existence of walnut trees, both owners earn income, both tenants and children learn ways of earning, and women experience the joy of receiving wages. In terms of ownership, according to other research conducted in Ardakan, the findings here also revealed multiple ownerships of the garden or even a single tree, as well as ownership in the form of agricultural ownership and endowment.

Abstract

Semiotics is a current approach to study the mechanism of meaning formation and production. The nature of the tensive process that exists at the heart of any discourse is that it transforms meaning into an indefinite and complete entity, Since the discourse governing the two poems "The Lament of Hallaj" by Adunis and "The Death of Nasiri" by Ahmad Shamloo is based on extent and pressure relationship, and these two poems have various becomings and actions and are value-oriented, this article tries to use analytical-descriptive method to study the tensive-emotional system in these two poems through a comparative method. It makes the mechanisms of formation, production, continuity of emotional meaning and its interaction with other meanings clear and tries to explain the partnership of signs-meanings in the production of meaning. Findings of the study indicate that the elements involved in the mechanisms of production of emotional discourse, finally act to establish the desired meaning of the two debators, and debators use tools such as "discourse position", "conjunction and disconnection of discourse", "effect of verbs", "far-sightedness" and "rhythm and melody" in this direction. And also among tensional schema forms, the forms of emotional pressure peak and decrease of cognitive rang is applicable to the first section of Adunis's poetry, and the simultaneous decrease of pressures and extensions is applicable to the second section. As throughout Shamloo's poem, the tensional schema of simultaneous drop in pressures and expanses can be shown.

1. Introduction
In the sign-semantics approach, each sign interacts with another sign and moves in the direction of meaning production. Semantic-semiotics has become a phenomenological and intelligent tool during the transition from pure constructivist semiotics. In Saussure's semiotics, the sign is examined outside the context of the discourse, but in sign-semantics, the elements of the semantic sign are not frozen and inflexible elements, but become flexible due to following the conditions.
Since the discourse governing the two poems "Elegy of Al-Hallaj" by Adonis and the poem "Death of Naseri" by Ahmad Shamloo is based on extensive and pressing communication and two important cognitive and emotional aspects in the flow of literary discourse have caused the production of meaning, this possibility There is a possibility that these poems should be analyzed according to the pattern of tension semiotics in order to identify the value goal of the discourse in them. The tense atmosphere in the discourse is the place where emotions arise. Therefore, it is necessary to examine approaches such as "discursive position", "discursive connection and disconnection", "effect of verbs" and "perspective creation" in order to reach the depth of the poem's emotion. Since the discourse of these two poems is based on the sensory-perceptual and aesthetic function, and in a discourse process, it enjoys the characteristics of tension and tension, the purpose of this research is to open multiple angles of meaning by relying on emotional and tension discourse systems. To acquaint the audience with the source of the formation of these discourse systems and examine how the message is induced in the poetry of these two poets.
In the upcoming research, an attempt is made to examine and analyze the flexible and fluid structure of both poems in question, in the interactive space formed in the speech space, by a descriptive-analytical method . The authors have tried to answer the following questions:
- Which semiotic feature and which tensive-thymique scheme do both poems reflect?
- What effect has the tensive scheme in these two poems had on the emotion of the poem?
- In the discussed poems, what is the function of the tensive-thymique scheme in producing meaning and creating value?

2. Methodology
In the upcoming research, an attempt is made to examine and analyze the flexible and fluid structure of  the two poems in question, in the interactive space formed in the speech space, by a descriptive-analytical method through library study.

3. Results
The elements involved in the mechanisms of the production of emotional discourse, in the end  has worked to stabilize the intended meaning of the two speakers. To this end,the poets have taken the advantage of "discourse position", "discourse connection and disconnection", "effect of verbs", " perspectives" and "rhythm. The discursive conjunction and disconnection in these poems have made the character of Hallaj and Naseri universal by giving them a historical dimension. In addition, discursive separation has created new places and times in discourse and has made the scope of poetry wider and wider. What arouses the emotion of the audience is the intensity of the two verbs "not wanting and not being able" in Hallaj and Masih and saying no to life and the reverse intensity of these two verbs in the passive people of the time who have taken a path other than the path of these two enlightening reformers.
Among the types of tensive schemas, the type of increasing emotional pressure and decreasing cognitive range can be applied to the first stanza of Adunis's poem and the simultaneous decrease of pressures and ranges to its second stanza. As throughout Shamloo's poem, it is possible to show the tensive pattern of the simultaneous reduction of pressures and ranges. In the tensive zone, where the emotional aspect of the poem, like the cognitive aspect, has lost its efficiency and power, and the scopes and pressures have decreased simultaneously, since such a process is considered a purposeful discourse strategy in abstract arts. This, in turn, has caused the longing and sadness, stillness and stagnation caused by the absence of these two instigators, who are the generalized heroes of the two narrators, to reflect well and affect the narrator in the best and strongest way.

Abstract

Oblivious transfer (OT) is a basic building block in many cryptographic protocols. A common approach in designing secure multiparty computation protocols is to assume that messages of the protocol are being transmitted over an authenticated channel, where entities have been authenticated to each other before the actual flows of the protocol. However, the mentioned aspect leads to some restrictions in design and development of secure multiparty computations. In this paper, we exploit some well-known authenticated Diffie-Hellman-based key exchange protocols to build three authenticated 1-out-of-2 oblivious transfer protocols. As a result, our schemes incorporate the authentication within the oblivious transfer protocol itself, instead of performing authentication via a separate sub-protocol. We show that the proposed protocols are secure in the semi-honest model. We also compare our new schemes with the previous methods (performing authentication via a separate sub-protocol) which illustrates that our schemes decrease computational and communication complexity for both sender and receiver.

ABSTRACT
In this research, seismic response of linked column with simple frame system is evaluated as a new structural system. Linked column with simple frame (LCS) is a new idea of a structural steel frame system that has a suitable seismic performance against the earthquake. Achieving to the fast and simple repair of buildings with replacing some members after the earthquake is purpose of designing this system. In this research, elastic behavior of the new structural system is compare with the other common structural steel frame systems in the same conditions, and special linked column with simple frame system (LCS) response, compare with special concentrically braced frame system (CBF) and special moment resisting frame system (MRF) in 1 to 9 story models. The results of the model analysis are presented as graphs of base shear, steel weight, uplift force, period of time, maximum story drift and maximum lateral displacement (roof displacement) of 1 to 9 story models of researched structural steel frame systems. Based on these results, the elastic response of LCS is similar to other structural systems and its design is possible using linear analysis methods.
Then, inelastic capacity and seismic performance parameters of linked column with simple frame system is evaluated by the use of pushover curves of models. This result discloses that behavior factor of 8 (Ru=8), overstrength factor of 2.7 (Ω0=2.7) and deflection amplification factor of 5.5 (Cd=5.5) is appropriate for this system. Eventually, the capacity of structural stability and collapse mechanism of LCS models has been evaluated by using nonlinear dynamic time history analysis under the 14 ground motion records that scaled to the base design earthquake. The coming results are indicated base on maximum interstory drift for LCS models. Based on these results, mean value of maximum interstory drift for all LCS models is below 2 percent and this system has the capability of structural stability against the earthquake records. The plastic hinges spreading and beginning (collapse mechanism) in nonlinear analysis shows that LCS system has the capability of creation design targets.
After evaluation of linked column with simple frame system with different types of structural analysis, the seismic performance of this system is acceptable as a new structural steel frame system. This system is so appropriate for 1 to 6 story buildings or buildings with maximum height of 20 meters. Also, this system has the capability of realizing its main feature, which is achieving a fast repairable building right after the earthquake with replacing some members, as if the building will have the capability of resisting earthquake after the fast simple repairing. Thus, linked column with simple frame (LCS) in a primary evaluation of seismic response is presented as a new structural steel frame system. Naturally this system needed to more research in all necessary fields.
The results of this study and comparison can display the proper views and assumptions from behavior of the all steel structural systems that have been investigated. Also, the results show can expect an appropriate nonlinear behavior from structures when following provisions code in designing models with using a linear analysis.

Abstract

Cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L) fruit is very perishable and needs proper post-harvest management to reduce waste. This study was performed as a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design with three replications with the aim of increasing postharvest life and maintaining fruit quality of two Cornelian cherry genotypes KKP2 and Hir. Factors included three salicylic acid immersion treatments (0, 1 and 2 mM), four storage times (0, 10, 20 and 30 days) and two Cornelian cherry genotypes. Fruits were harvested at maturity (more than 90% redness of the skin) and healthy and uniform fruits were subjected to immersion treatments and stored for 30 days at 4 ° C. During and at the end of experiment, different physicochemical traits of fruits including soluble solids (TSS), firmness, total phenol, anthocyanin, ascorbic acid, pH and weight loss were examined at 10-day intervals. The results showed that KKP2 genotype had less firmness and TSS and more weight loss than Hir genotype. There was no significant difference between the two genotypes in terms of total acidity. The highest of pH, soluble solids and weight loss were observed in the control or distilled water treatment and salicylic acid treatment prevented the increase of these parameters. The highest levels of ascorbic acid, anthocyanin and firmness were observed in the treatment of 1 mM salicylic acid. The amount of fruit phenol in distilled water treatment was further reduced and the treatments of salicylic acid 1 and 2 mM prevented further reduction of phenol during storage. Salicylic acid treatments can be used as a promising method for increasing the firmness and extending the shelf life of cornelian cherry fruits.

Abstract

Magnetic abrasive finishing process (MAF) is one of the latest advanced machining processes. After eight decades have passed since the registration of the magnetic abrasive polishing process, the applicability of this method has been proven in finishing all kinds of surfaces, including flat, cylindrical and free surfaces. In this research, the influence of MAF process movement parameters on the concave surface of cold-worked steel has been investigated experimentally using the response surface method. These parameters include rotational speed, linear speed, gap between abrasive brush and workpiece, magnetic flux density and curvature angle. For this purpose, a spherical head magnet is used and the powder used is prepared by mechanical alloying method. Cold-worked steel is used in the manufacture of roll forming molds, which is used in air engines to shape compressor and turbine blades, and also to investigate the feasibility of the MAF process on the workpiece surface with high hardness and yield stress, such as Cold work steel is selected. According to the results, the optimal value of the magnetic flux density is 0.55 tesla, and with the increase of the distance between the abrasive brush and the workpiece, the surface roughness changes initially increase and decrease after passing the optimal value.

Abstract

Background: The sensory and mobility failure associated with spinal cord injury (SCI) is desperately complicated due to the pathological events that occur sequentially in consequent to the injury.
Objectives: Herein, we applied neural stem cells, derived from human iPSCs (hiPSC-NSCs), to ameliorate the behavioral complications of contusive SCI in Rhesus monkeys, in sub-acute phase.
Methods: hiPSC-NSCs were maintained and characterized in vitro for general NSCs as well as hind-limb specific gene and protein expression prior to transplantation. Moreover, Masson's trichrome staining (MTS) in addition to luxol fast blue (LFB) were performed to determine the fibrotic scar reduction and myelination respectively. Tarlov’s scale were utilized to score the motor improvement, plus, sensory perception evaluation throughout six months following the injury.
Results: hiPSC-NSCs were identified to own NSCs’ exclusive properties in vitro by SOX2, DCX and NESTIN in addition to NESTIN , PAX6 , SOX1 , HOXA2 and HOXB2 protein and gene expression. Additionally, hiPSC-NSCs caused remarkable depletion in fibrotic scar and enhance myelination; spinal shock, sensory responses, reflexes and motor function were improved over six months.
Conclusions: Our findings suggest that hiPSC-NSCs lead to promising recovery after SCI, therefore, this source of NSCs provide a therapeutic potential in clinical studies.
