بررسی تاثیر ارتعاشات اولتراسونیک بر حداکثر نیروی ابزار سوراخ کاری در آلومینیوم

چکیده
ماشینکاری به کمک اولتراسونیک یک تکنیک جدید و یکی از فرآیندهای نوین و نوید بخش، برای ماشینکاری فلزات به‌خصوص آلیاژهای فلزی با قابلیت ماشینکاری پایین می‌باشد. در این تحقیق، با استفاده از یک مجموعه مطالعات آزمایشگاهی، تاثیر استفاده از ارتعاشات اولتراسونیک روی نیروی لازم برای سوراخکاری قطعه‌کارهای نازک آلومینیوم با سه ضخامت متفاوت در سه سرعت دوران مختلف و چهار نرخ پیشروی متفاوت بررسی شده است. نتایج نشان داد که در دو قطعه‌کار آلومینیوم 1 و 5/1 میلیمتر، استفاده از ارتعاشات اولتراسونیک عموما باعث کاهش نیروی محوری شده است اما در قطعه‌کار 2 میلیمتری در مورد اثر اضافه کردن ارتعاشات اولتراسونیک نمی توان اظهار نظر قطعی نمود. به بیان دیگر می توان گفت که اضافه کردن ارتعاشات اولتراسونیک با دامنه و فرکانس ثابت اثر یکسانی بر سوراخکاری در شرایط متفاوت ندارد و برای رسیدن به مطلوب ترین حالت سوراخکاری باید مشخصات ارتعاش بهینه مورد مطالعه قرار گیرد.

Investigating the Effect of Ultrasonic Vibrations on the Maximum Force of Tools in Drilling of Aluminum

چکیده English

Ultrasonic machining is a new technique, and one of the new and promising processes for machining metals, especially metal alloys with low machinability. In this paper, a set of laboratory studies is used to investigate the effect of using ultrasonic vibrations on the force required for drilling of the thin aluminum workpieces. For this perpuse, three aluminum workpieces with different thicknesses are drilled under three different rotation speeds, and four different advance rates. The results showed that in two aluminum workpieces, 1 and 1.5 mm, the use of ultrasonic vibrations generally reduced the axial force, but in the 2 mm workpiece, it is not possible to understand a meaningfull effect of adding ultrasonic vibrations. In other words, it can be said that adding ultrasonic vibrations with constant amplitude and frequency does not have the same effect on drilling in different conditions, and to reach the most efficient drilling, the characteristics of optimal vibration should be studied.
